The Orthodox hand painted pendant was inspired by the famous Icon painting Saint George and Dragon and painted by our studio near Moscow, Russia. It is not printed image.
Artist uses magnifier with one squirrel tail fur brush on mother of pearl (shell) to create miniature painting. In order to become the wearable arts, Artist also needs to recreate the image to fix the jewelry design pieces. Because of black agate material background, the image is rich in stereoscopic feeling.
Artist also signed on the bottom.
The Sterling silver pendant was done in the USA and send to Russia for our artist to make painting.
The size of pendent is 40x56 mm ( 1.6x2.24 inches) oval shape . The enhancer bell is about 8mm diameter. Enhancer can open to attach any chains you like.
